Ulver - Sounds Like Sorrow (2009)
Illustration commissioned by the Norwegian artist Kristoffer Rygg a.k.a. Garm for his band Ulver, to be used in posters, t-shirts and other official merchandise. The original Mater Dolorosa painting was made by Hans Memling in 1480.
